Are stu­dents switch­ing schools at high­er rates since the school reforms? If so, is this mobil­i­ty relat­ed to stu­dent char­ac­ter­is­tics and the types of schools they attend? Also, has the rela­tion­ship between stu­dent mobil­i­ty and school qual­i­ty changed? In oth­er words, are stu­dents now more like­ly to move out of low-per­form­ing schools and move into high­er-per­form­ing ones?
