Bing Howell

School Growth Strategy, New Schools for Baton Rouge

Bing started his career in education at Bryanston Square (London, UK) where he supported numerous schools and local authorities in creating transformational learning environments. Upon returning to the United States, Bing led the development and civic engagement work at Citizen Schools New Jersey where he eventually became the Interim Executive Director. Bing joined the Broad Residency in 2011 where he built and managed the New Jersey Department of Education’s Office of Portfolio Management responsible for supporting all priority schools in the state. He moved on to work at the Tennessee Department of Education to build the strategy for supporting all priority and focus schools in the state.

Bing received his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and his MBA from the University of Kansas.
