Our center’s Director Douglas Harris participated in the Katrina Forward series
at the Blanco Public Policy Center at University of Louisiana at Lafayette. In conversation with Steven Barnes, he presented on the 20-year impact of Hurricane Katrina on education in New Orleans, drawing from ERA’s body of research and landmark key conclusion report. Associate Director for Research Jamie M. Carroll was featured in Louisiana the State We’re In, a program by Louisiana Public Broadcasting. Jamie spoke with Karen LeBlanc about the post-Katrina education reforms and how New Orleans is doing 20 years after Katrina devastated the city.
