Jordan Johnson is the Associate Director of Operations, Finance, and Communications at ERA-New Orleans. His work focuses on building and sustaining partnerships that connect research and public institutions to the communities, funders, and decision-makers they serve. He is interested in how relationships, trust, and organizational practices shape the flow of resources, information, and collaboration across sectors. His work centers on helping institutions communicate clearly, work effectively with partners, and translate complex work into shared understanding.
His experience spans higher education, healthcare, philanthropy, and nonprofit organizations, where he has worked closely with researchers, public agencies, funders, and community partners. Across these roles, he focuses on relationship-building, coordination, and creating conditions that support collaboration and long-term impact.
Jordan holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Nonprofit Studies from the University of Arkansas. He is trained in grants management through PEAK Grantmaking.
