Keisha Dubuclet
Director of Public Engagement, Center for Development and Learning
Keisha Dubuclet, a New Orleans native, is CDL’s director of public engagement. In this role, her major responsibilities include advocating for and informing the public about key education issues. Her specific foci include education reform issues, such as Common Core, teacher effectiveness, and teacher preparation. Keisha has worked in a variety of educational settings. In her previous role, she oversaw the Urban League Parent Information Center, working to empower parents as leaders and advocates for high quality public education. She has also served as an adjunct professor and worked as an instructional designer and trainer at a Fortune 500 company. Keisha graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana. She holds a M.Ed. in Adult Education and a Ph.D. in Educational, Leadership and Research. She is also the mother of three children who attend a public charter school in New Orleans.
