Jennifer Roberts

Vice President, Education, Baptist Community Ministries

With over ten years management experience in K-12 education, higher education, and education-based non-profit organizations, Ms. Roberts directs all grantmaking activities associated with the education program zone. Prior to joining BCM, she oversaw the development, implementation, and evaluation of partnerships and academic programs with local school districts for the largest community college system in Texas. Previously, she directed teacher retention programs and new initiatives as a member of the executive management team at the School District of Philadelphia, served as a program administrator and policy advisor for youth serving nonprofits in Boston and Houston, and taught in Philadelphia secondary school classrooms. She currently serves on the Board of the Louisiana Partnership for Children and Families, a statewide advocacy organization dedicated to improving early childhood outcomes in the state.

A native of the Gulf Coast, Ms. Roberts earned a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies from Bryn Mawr College and a Master's degree in Education Policy and Management from Harvard University.
