Assistant Professor, University of Oklahoma

Deven Carlson is an assistant professor of political science at the University of Oklahoma. His research examines the operations and effects of education and social policies, including private school vouchers, charter schools, inter-district open enrollment, accountability, and, most recently, school closures. His work has been published in Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis, the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, Sociology of Education, Economics of Education Review, the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, and others.
