Marco Pariguana is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Education Research Alliance for New Orleans.
Marco's research interests include the economics of education, labor economics, and applied microeconomics. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Western Ontario. His dissertation studied how using only a standardized achievement test to rank students for admissions in the centralized education market in Mexico City can affect the equity of access and the graduation rate in the presence of heterogeneous skills.
He has previously worked as a Research Fellow at the Inter-American Development Bank and as a Junior Professional Associate at the World Bank.
