Kirsten Feil

Director of Teaching & Learning, FirstLine Schools

Kirsten Feil is the Director of Teaching & Learning at FirstLine Schools, a New Orleans charter management organization which believes in creating and inspiring great open admission public schools in New Orleans. Kirsten began her career as a Teach For America Corps Member in New Orleans in 1998 at an alternative middle school in Orleans Parish. In 2000, she joined the staff of New Orleans Charter Middle School as a teacher and continued working there until Katrina. After earning her Master of School Administration (M.S.A.) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she returned to the city and the next iteration of Charter Middle: FirstLine.
